| Abstract | The ring-opening metathesis copolymns. of deltacyclene (I), substituted I, and norbornene (II) was achieved using RuCl3, ReCl5, and Mo alkylidene catalysts. The reaction conditions employed are similar to those used previously in the syntheses of homopolymers. The low conversion copolymn. of I and II showed that I is more reactive than II by a factor of 2.4. The characterization and phys. properties of these copolymers were detd. using NMR, GPC, glass temp., and viscosity measurements. [on SciFinder(R)] |
