| Abstract | The diketopiperazine of DOPA was synthesized in high yield from the diketopiperazine of tyrosine using PC12 cell lysate, which expresses high levels of tyrosine hydroxylase. This represents the first use of this enzyme to prepare DOPA-containing peptides. |
