Darren Bardati
BiographyDr. Bardati is an Adjunct Faculty member at UPEI and a Research Associate with the Institute of Island Studies. His research interests revolve around human use of natural resources and human impacts on natural environments (water, forests, agriculture, coastal resources, etc). He teaches ENV 224 Field Course in Ecological Forestry in a one-week long, intensive experiential learning format in June. The course is taught entirely in the forests of the property of the Sir Andrew MacPhail Homestead in Orwell, PEI where Darren teams up with Gary Schneider, supervisor of the MacPhail Woods Ecological Forestry Project.
From 2008 to 2010, he served as Director of Environmental Studies at UPEI. He is currently a Professor in the Environmental Studies and Geography Department at Bishop's University.
