Jan Lovy
BiographyDr. Lovy received his Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Aquaculture, from Unity College in Maine. He then worked at a fisheries laboratory for the Division of Fish and Wildlife in New Jersey for one year. Following this he went on to complete a PhD at the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island focusing on the pathology of fish. His research interests include investigating the pathology of farmed/wild fish and studying the inflammatory responses in fish to see how they compare to higher vertebrates. He is currently completing research with the Pacific Biological Station in Nanaimo, British Columbia.
