Olena Ivus
Biography
Dr. Olena Ivus is an Assistant Professor of Managerial Economics at Queen's School of Business. Her research employs both theory and empirical work to study aspects of international trade law and regulation, foreign direct investment, intellectul property protection, and research & development activity. Olena received her PhD. in Economics from the University of Calgary in 2009. Prior to joining Queen's in the Summer of 2010, Olena was an Assistant Professor at the University of Prince Edward Island, and attended as a visiting researcher at the Institute of Economic Research, Hitotsubashi University in the Spring of 2010. In the Fall of 2010, Olena won the World Trade Organization (WTO) Essay Award for Young Economists.
