Associate Professor
Susan Brown is an Associate Professor at University of Prince Edward Island, where she teaches Modern British & Irish History. She received her doctorate in History from the University of Oxford in 1993. Her current research explores the relationships between commerce and culture on the eighteenth-century London stage. She has written on theatrical riots, the role of women in theatre production, and the relationship between theatres and urban trade.
