| Abstract | In this article, the author comments on the paper "Academic Talent Development and the Equity Issue in Gifted Education," by Francoys Gagne. The author focuses on the issue concerning the applicability of academic talent development (ATD) model proposed by Gagne in the sport domain. He emphasizes that the over-representation of African American athletes in professional sports addresses discrepancies between Differentiated Model of Giftedness and Talent (DMGT) and how it relates to sport. |
