Abstract With an increasing number of post-secondary courses now maintaining a web presence, students are able to view course material from anywhere and at any time. While students generally prefer to access and submit material online, they also prefer to print what they are accessing for study purposes. A growing number of students are also showing concern for the environment, and are looking for ways to reduce waste. This two-part quantitative research project examines both student (N=204) and faculty (N=24) attitudes towards printing materials that are readily available online, prior to the implementation of a print management system at Holland College.
