Blake Jelley

Biography

Dr. Blake Jelley is an Associate Professor of management teaching in the areas of organizational behaviour, human resource management, research methods, and evidence-based management. He is a Certified Human Resources Professional and earned the top score in Canada on the October 2012 National Knowledge Exam set by the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations. He holds a PhD in industrial-organizational psychology from Western University and is a former Chair of the Canadian Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Prior to joining UPEI, Dr. Jelley worked in an applied research capacity with the Ontario Police College. Dr. Jelley’s scholarly work has appeared in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including prestigious outlets such as the Journal of Applied Psychology and Personnel Psychology.
