|Abstract||Hypercalcemia caused by primary hyperparathyroidism was believed to be responsible for seizures in a dog. A diagnostic evaluation showed no primary causes of seizures. After surgical excision of the adenomatous parathyroid gland, phenobarbital treatment was discontinued, without recurrence of seizures.|
