| Abstract | A 4.5-kg urachal abscess involving the umbilical arteries was diagnosed in a 12-week-old Holstein heifer. The urinary bladder wall was adhered to the mass, and there were multiple adhesions of the jejunum, which were associated with incomplete extra-mural obstruction. Adhesiolysis was completed. One section of partially obstructed jejunum was resected and a side-to-side anastomosis performed. Recovery from surgery was uneventful.. |
