|Abstract||A simple procedure that can be used by veterinary practitioners for identification of mastitis pathogens is outlined. It consists of using plates of blood agar or 2 selective agars (TK/FC and MacConkey), the catalase test and Gram staining to identify major udder pathogens in milk samples.
