| Abstract | Seldom treated by modern students of the Radical Reformation, Adam Reissner, humanist, historian, biblical commentator, amanuensis to Schwenckfeld and municipal clerk at Mindelheim deserves fuller attention for his commentary on Matthew and his other theological works. An initial review of his Matthew commentary, for example, indicates the possibility of a greater influence by Reissner on Schwenkfeld than previously thought. |
